Project Description
CLIENT
Founded in 1999, Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County (Tennessee) serves more than 1,200 youth per year through three Clubhouse sites and twelve school-based sites. In May 2019, Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County received the Program Honor Award for the top academic program in the nation at Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Conference in Houston, Texas — a distinction out of more than 4,300 Clubs across the USA.
OBJECTIVE
For 2019, Boys & Girls Clubs of Americas announced the “Whatever it Takes” campaign, encouraging local clubs to produce marketing materials focused on that theme. With a small budget for such a large scope of services, Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County relies upon regular fundraising and volunteers. To encourage involvement from the local community Chapel Hill Media designed a 1-minute video to feature brief testimonies from staff, students and parents to convey the value of services that Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County offers to area youth.
ROLES
Inspired by literature from the client, and a tour of their facilities, Chapel Hill Media Owner/Creator in Chief Randall K. Harp created the outline (with scene descriptions and timing) for the 1-minute video, including a voice over script. A variety of footage was captured at two facilities on three days and then edited along with a few stock clips into the final form. The voice over was provided by Donna Smith. Music underlay is “Piano Motivational Inspiring Emotional” by Olexandr Ignatov (Edited).
